Terms of Service
-
C Trading provides social media marketing services for ecommerce brands and apps, including organic content strategy, creator partnerships, and paid social advertising across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. The specific scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and fees for any engagement will be set out separately in a proposal, statement of work, or service agreement agreed between C Trading and the client (“Agreement”). Where these Terms conflict with a signed Agreement, the Agreement takes priority.
-
Engagements typically begin with an introductory call booked through our site. Booking a call does not create a binding service agreement — that happens only once both parties agree to a proposal or statement of work.
-
Fees, payment schedules, and any deposit requirements will be set out in your Agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to pause work on overdue accounts.
-
To deliver our services effectively, we rely on clients to provide timely access to relevant accounts, assets, approvals, and information. Delays in providing these may affect timelines and results.
-
Marketing and advertising involve factors outside our control, including platform algorithm changes, market conditions, and client-side factors. While we bring experience and best practices to every engagement, we don’t guarantee specific results, follower counts, sales figures, or return on ad spend.
-
Any pre-existing intellectual property (such as our internal processes, frameworks, and templates) remains our property. Content and deliverables created specifically for a client as part of a paid engagement belong to the client once paid in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may reference completed client work (e.g. as a case study or in our portfolio) unless the client asks us not to.
-
Both parties agree to keep confidential information shared during an engagement private, and to use it only for the purposes of the engagement.
-
To the maximum extent permitted by law, C Trading’s total liability arising from or related to our services is limited to the fees paid by the client for the services giving rise to the claim in the three months prior. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
-
Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the notice terms set out in the Agreement. Fees for work completed up to the date of termination remain payable.
-
You agree not to use our website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it. All content on this website (excluding client and partner logos, which remain the property of their respective owners) belongs to C Trading and may not be copied or reused without permission.
-
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
-
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of our site or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
